Car wash manager, waiter, potato peeler, salesman, taxi driver, fruit picker, bus boy, mechanic and, now, an actor. Randeep Hooda has been there, done that. Quite a few of his films are up for release, such as Ketan Mehtas Rang Rasiya, Love Khichdi with Riya Sen and Karma Confessions And Holi with Sushmita Sen.
Isnt his film Rang Rasiya going through a lot of controversy with the censor board? He rubbishes it all and says, No.
Thats wrong information. There is no objection on any scenes from the film. The censor has passed it. After all the shooting, what is he up to now? I am back from a break, and taking stock of what I am doing, says he. So, did he take a holiday? Oh no. I have never been on a holiday in my life so far. But, now with Rang Rasiya going to the London Film Festival, I plan to hang around there for a bit, says the actor.
Randeep is a man of varied passions horses (he owns six and is a professional rider in equestrian horse jumping events, apart from regularly participating in polo), cars (owns a customised Commando jeep) and music (plays the saxophone). What else does he do? I myself dont know. I am still exploring my areas of interest, laughs he. I have always appreciated unusual things. The minute I heard the sound of the saxophone, I loved it and took it up. You never know, you just might see me being part of a music band!
It seems we are going to see quite a lot of this cool dude this year not that we mind!
